Seanomos Mobile (mobile.seanomos.com) is run by Lokesh Rathore, who is the person responsible for any personal data handled through this site. This page sets out the information we gather, the reasons we gather it and the options open to you. Privacy questions can be sent to contact@seanomos.com.
Information we receive
- Things you write to us. When you fill in the contact form or send us an email, we get your name, email address, the subject line and the text of your message. Entries made through the form are kept in the site’s database and also forwarded to our mailbox.
- Server records. As on any website, our server notes your IP address, which browser you use, which page you requested and when. Our host holds these access logs for roughly 10 days so the site stays safe and runs properly.
- Light or dark mode. If you change the site’s colour theme, that preference is stored in local storage on your own browser. It stays on your device and is never passed to us.
- Ad cookies. These are covered in the AdSense section further down.
You never need an account to read Seanomos Mobile, and comments are turned off across the site. Right now we run no Google Analytics and no other analytics tool that tracks visitors. Should that change, this policy will be updated before any such tool goes live.

Why we use this information
- To answer what you send us and correct errors you point out.
- To protect the site, block spam and misuse, and sort out technical faults.
- To run the ads that fund the site, as explained in the section above.
Your personal data is never sold to anyone.
Who else receives it
- OVHcloud, our hosting provider, whose server in Mumbai, India holds the website and its logs.
- Google, for the ads described earlier.
- Government or legal authorities, where the law makes it necessary.
Storage periods
- Emails and contact form messages: held for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless a complaint or a legal requirement means we must keep them longer.
- Server access logs: roughly 10 days.
Your choices under Indian law
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 lets you ask which personal data of yours we hold, have it corrected or erased, and withdraw any consent you have given. You may also nominate someone else to use these rights on your behalf. Write to contact@seanomos.com and you will get a reply within 15 days. If our response does not settle the matter, you can take a complaint to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children’s data
Seanomos Mobile is written for adults, and we do not knowingly gather personal data from anyone below 18. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, let us know and we will remove it.
Keeping data safe
Every page loads over HTTPS, the server receives regular updates and entry to the admin area is restricted. No way of storing data online is ever fully secure, but we take care to protect your information.
